The Welcome Home Candle

Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio is proud to offer a limited number of our “Welcome Home” candles in 2022. The scent is a mix of Sandalwood, Juniper, and Chestnut, specifically chosen to highlight the best parts of being home for the holidays.
The Sandalwood scent represents the physical house. Just as wood provides the frame for each of our Habitat homes, the Sandalwood is the base scent that the rest of the candle is built around.
The sprigs of a juniper tree are thought to offer friendship and hope through dark times and have been used as a symbol of protection. Friendship, hope, and protection are all things we hope our Habitat homeowners find as a result of their homes.
Lastly, we layered in the scent of Chestnut, an ode to the traditional holiday song and designed to bring warmth and comfort. Chestnuts are considered a symbol of harvest, abundance, and preparation which we hope you carry into the new year.
An ideal gift for stocking stuffers, host and hostess presents, corporate clients, and employees. Proceeds from the sale of the Welcome Home candle go directly to Habitat MidOhio's mission and programs, helping to build and sustain the dream of homeownership for families in need, right here in central Ohio. Each 8 oz candle is poured into a white jar with a black lid and the above label wrapped around the jar.
